If you are new to anal play and thinking about exploring that form a pleasure beads are a great starter point. There are different types of beads, the Pleasure Anchor in particular has beads ranging from .75″ to 1.25″.

Playing with beads can be fun as long as you know your body. If you intend to play with a partner I recommend to play alone first before having a partner play with you.

Give yourself at least 15-20 minutes of alone play time. Gather some essential supplies to have everything at hand such as the Pleasure Anchor or your choice of beads, lubricant, clean wipes, and toy cleaner. Make sure you are relaxed and aroused. For women it helps to achieve an orgasm before hand. Use a very good lubricant, visit my site for the different types of lubricants I offer, try to stay away from silicon-based lubricants. Most people look for a water-based lubricant for anal play. Use the lubricant to massage the anus. Get into a comfortable position and use finger(s) to get comfortable to the pleasures of beads.

Once you feel you are ready to insert the beads begin with one bead. Think about how it feels, get comfortable and get pass the pain/discomfort/burning sensation. It also helps to breath through this process to continue the flow of relaxation. Continue to insert the beads to your comfort level. It is ok if you cannot insert all of the beads at once. Anal play is enjoyable over time and needs to be taken gently so that it will not discourage you from future play.

Where is the Pleasure?
